Details at a glance

Choose from unlaminated, gloss laminated or matt laminated. Our 400gsm postcards are already very sturdy but you can enhance their strength and improve their appearance with a gloss or matt laminate.

Optional reverse side printing. Your postcards can be supplied with a blank back, for example if you are intending to add address details or advertising messages on labels, or we can print on the reverse side in black or colour for extra cost.

Fits standard C6 envelopes, or choose a custom size. Our regular A6 postcards fit plain C6 envelopes, bought easily from any stationery supplier. Or you can select any size from the range below; if you need a custom size, simply choose the next size up and we will cut it free of charge to the size you require.

Die cut shapes available. We can cut postcards A5 or larger to any shape you require. Please contact us so we can get the details of your project and provide you with a detailed quotation.

Pricing illustrations

Please remember that our prices are fully inclusive of professional advice to help you prepare your file for printing, pre-press checks, PDF proofs and printing. The only charges to add are for delivery and VAT, where applicable. We never add 'hidden extras' and we stand by that principle 100%.

Unlaminated postcards

These postcards are supplied with a sealer varnish on each side, to prevent the ink from rubbing off or smudging. They are not laminated however, which makes them easy to write on and therefore ideal for notelets and the like.

Gloss laminated postcards

Gloss lamination gives your postcard a high shine finish, exactly like postcards offered for sale in museums, bookshops and so on. The lamination strengthens the cards but is difficult to write on, so cards which are intended to be written and posted are generally unlaminated on the reverse side.

The prices in these tables include gloss lamination on the face side only. For gloss lamination on both sides, please add the figure in the last row of the table. Please note that we cannot mix gloss and matt lamination in the same job.

Matt laminated postcards

Matt lamination adds a feeling of prestige to a postcard, as well as strengthening the card and protecting it from spills and fingerprints. Dark colours (blue and black) benefit the most from lamination, since areas of solid dark colours tend to show up fingerprints most clearly.

The prices in these tables include matt lamination on the face side only. For matt lamination on both sides, please add the figure in the last row of the table. Please note that we cannot mix gloss and matt lamination in the same job.
