Quick Questions: Pricing and Payment

Do your prices include VAT?

No. Most printed products are standard-rated for VAT so this must be added to the prices on our site at the prevailing rate of 20%.

Some products, such as leaflets and booklets, are usually zero-rated, though there are exceptions.

We have detailed information from HMRC on our VAT information page (opens in a new window). Or please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help you determine whether your product is standard-rated or zero-rated for VAT.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit and debit cards by telephone, bank transfers, cheques, postal orders and cash sent by Special Delivery.

We strongly recommend the use of a debit card to pay for your order, since this is instant and will not affect our guaranteed turnaround times.

Credit card payments are also instant and will not slow down your order, but our terminal surcharges such payments by 2%, which can be a significant sum on larger orders.

Bank transfers (except via the new Faster Payment system) can take up to three working days to show in our account, and until funds have cleared we cannot being printing your job(s).

Similarly, cheques can take up to seven working days to clear, potentially resulting in severe delays to your job.

Can I apply for a credit account?

We extend 30 day credit accounts without the need for application forms to public-sector organisations such as schools, colleges and hospitals.

We regret that we do not offer credit terms to private organisations or individuals.

How do I find a price for a product not shown on your site?

We are able to price tens of thousands of products via our computerised quoting system; please call our Design Advice Line on 01457 778788 for an instant price.

For less common products, or custom projects, we aim to supply a quote within one working day.

If you require a written quote as a printable PDF or via post, please call and we will be happy to organise this.

What are your bank details?

Our bank details are shown at the foot of every invoice. If you do not have them hand, please contact us and we will provide them by telephone.
